Renewals are mailed 90 days prior to the license
expiration date of February 28 of each odd year. 20 hours of board
approved courses per biennium are required for renewal.
A licensee must maintain, if applicable, a certificate from a
manufacturer or independent testing agent certifying that the testing
room meets the requirements of s. 484.0501(6), F.S. during the current
biennium. Proof of certified testing room will be required of licensees
randomly audited for CE compliance. See 64B6-6.004, F.A.C.
All audiometric testing equipment used by a licensee must be tested
and calibrated acoustically according to current ANSI standards on an
annual basis by the manufacturer or an independent certified testing
agent. Records of certification of such testing and calibration will be
required of licensees randomly audited for CE compliance. See
64B6-6.003, F.A.C.
