Renewal for Medical Doctor (Group 1)

Current licenses will expire at midnight, Eastern Time, on January 31, 2008.

The process of renewing a license may take two (2) to three (3) weeks. Initiating contact to confirm the receipt of fees or the status of your license prior to this time will not expedite the renewal process.

(Note: Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.)

* If you are adding or removing a status, such as paying a delinquency fee or changing a license status please see the fee schedules included with your renewal notice or contact Medical Quality Assurance Call Center at (850) 488-0595 press 3, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.

Delinquent licenses that expired on January 31, 2006 will become null and void on February 1, 2008.

Reactivation Requirements:  For requirements to reactivate your license, inactive to active, contact the Board of Medicine staff at (850) 245-4131.

You may renew your license utilizing FLHealthSource.com on the Internet or by mail using the U. S. Postal ServiceFLHealthSource.com is available to licensees that have no changes. 

E-Renewal: Renewal cycle closed. Address changes may be made online at anytime.

E-Renewal allows you to make address changes. E-Renewal does not allow you to renew online by adding or removing a status, paying a delinquency fee or changing a license status. E-Renewal will require the following information:

A licensee who remains on inactive status for more than two consecutive biennial licensure cycles and who wishes to reactivate the license may be required to demonstrate the competency to resume active practice by sitting for a special purpose examination or by completing other reactivation requirements.
