Renewal for Medical Doctors In-Training (Group 1)

Note* - Licensed physicians who hold the postgraduate training modifier are required to provide a letter confirming continued program participation from the Director of Medical Education to renew their medical license at the reduced fee.

Current licenses will expire at midnight, Eastern Time (ET), on January 31, 2008.

The process of renewing a license may take two (2) to three (3) weeks.  Initiating contact to confirm the receipt of fees or the status of your license prior to this time will not expedite the renewal process.

Reactivation Requirements: For requirements to reactivate your license, inactive to active, contact the Board Staff.

Delinquent licenses expiring on 1/31/06 will become null and void on 2/1/08.

Note - Licensed physicians who hold the volunteer modifier are required to provide a letter of employment and a fee waiver affidavit form to renew their medical license at no fee.

A licensee who remains on inactive status for more than two consecutive biennial licensure cycles and who wishes to reactivate the license may be required to demonstrate the competency to resume active practice by sitting for a special purpose examination or by completing other reactivation requirements.
