Renewal for Physician Assistants
Current licenses expired at midnight, Eastern Time, on January 31, 2012.
The
process of renewing a license may take two (2) to three (3) weeks.
Initiating contact to confirm the receipt of fees or the status of
your license prior to this time will not expedite the renewal process.
(Note: Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.)

Delinquent licenses expiring on
January 31, 2008 became null and void on February 1, 2010.
You may renew your license utilizing FLHealthSource.com on the Internet or by mail using the U. S. Postal Service.
FLHealthSource.com allows you to make address changes and/or renew your license. However, it does not allow you to renew online if are changing your license status. To renew your license and/or change your address, you will need the following information:
Reactivation Requirements: For requirements to reactivate your license, inactive to active, please email the board at: MQA_PhysicianAssistant@doh.state.fl.us
A licensee who remains on inactive status for more than two consecutive biennial licensure cycles and who wishes to reactivate the license may be required to demonstrate the competency to resume active practice by sitting for a special purpose examination or by completing other reactivation requirements.
