Notice to Chiropractic Physicians Holding an Acupuncture
Certification: Chapter 460, Florida Statutes, provides for a
certification option in acupuncture for chiropractic physicians. This
designation does not, however, authorize chiropractic physicians to
hold themselves out as or advertise themselves to be a “licensed
acupuncturist”, “acupuncturist” or “chiropractic acupuncturist”,
unless they are also acupuncturists licensed pursuant to Chapter 457,
Florida Statutes.
