The board is comprised of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Medicine and is comprised of three (3) licensed electrologists and two (2) consumer members.

All correspondence and inquires should be directed to the Electrolysis Council Staff at 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Bin #C05, Tallahassee, FL 32399-3255. Since this Council serves as a "quasi judicial" entity on licensure issues, contact with the members may cause the members to be recused from administrative proceedings. Staff will direct inquiries, when appropriate to the full board for review.

Staff and Responsibilities

The office of the Electrolysis Council is comprised of one full-time regulatory staff member.  A Program Operations Administrator and Executive Director for the Council are shared with several other professions.  You can contact the staff members via email at: MQA_Electrolysis@doh.state.fl.us

Allen Hall , Executive Director - Handles the administration of the Medical Therapies/psychology office and legislative and budget issues. (850) 245–4373.

Anna King , Program Operations Administrator - Answers all specific questions regarding laws and rules and licensure renewals. He is the supervisor for the Electrolysis staff and is available when other staff members are out of the office. (850) 245-4375.

Greg Ramer, Regulatory Specialist II - Processes all applications. Answers general application questions as well as questions regarding laws and rules. (850) 245-4373 ext. 2510.
