Q. Who do I contact regarding Compliance with a Final Order?

Q. How do I prove that I have done what my Final Order requires?
A. It is your responsibility to provide evidence that you are compliant with your Final Order. As soon as you complete each required term, send your CO written proof of your compliance. If it is not documented in our office, it is not done!
Acceptable as Written Proof
- Copies of Continuing Education Certificates – you should retain the original
- Original Respondent Report
- Original Monitor Report
- Original Community Service Affidavit
- Originals of anything that requires a signature or notary
*It is important to retain copies of every document you send to the Compliance Unit indefinitely as you may be asked to provide proof of compliance in the future on applications, for credentialing or insurance.
Please remember that your Final Order is a public document and will remain on your license indefinitely.

Q. Do I need to renew my license while I’m under discipline?
A. Yes. Your license will need to be renewed while under discipline. This includes when your license is on probation, suspension or obligations.

Q. How do I appeal my Final Order?
A. Pursuant to Section 120.569, Florida Statutes, a Final Order may be appealed by filing one copy of a notice of appeal with the clerk of the department and by filing a filing fee and one copy of a notice of appeal with the District Court of Appeals within thirty days of the date the Final Order is filed.
Q. Consumer Services notified me of my failure to comply with my Final Order. What do I do now?
A. Any questions regarding a potential investigation or referral should be directed to Consumer Services. Submitting documents to your CO after a referral has been made will not stop a new investigation; however, any documents submitted will be forwarded to Consumer Services.
