There is no deadline for massage therapy licensure;
however, a deadline does exist for the Colonic examination. See below.

The examination currently used in Florida for licensure of massage therapists, is offered and administered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) through Computer Based Testing which is available six (6) days per week, excluding Sunday. Candidates for examination can apply directly to NCBTMB by calling 1-800-296-0664 to request a Candidate Handbook. The fee for the examination is $225 and should be paid directly to NCBTMB by all candidates.
- The Colonic Examination is
administered twice a year at varying dates and times. The current
fee for Colonic examination and re-examination is $435.00 ($50-
application fee & $385- Testing services fee) to be paid to the
Dept. of Health, plus an additional $75 testing fee to be paid
directly to CORE Technology.

The application must be received, not postmarked, in the
Board office by the deadline date in order to be considered for the
