NEW! CE Broker Information for Providers and Licensees

Do not send in CE information. Licensee shall retain documentation showing completion of CE requirements for a period of 2 years following the current biennium.

Continuing education audits will be conducted at random to assure CE requirements are met.

Prior to renewal, a licensee shall complete no less than 30 hours of approved courses of continued professional pharmaceutical education within 24 month period prior to the expiration date of the license.  For a breakdown of these hours please refer to 64B16-26.103 Continuing Education Credits.

Consultant Pharmacist: - 24 hours of CE within the 24 month period prior to the expiration date of the license.

Nuclear Pharmacist: - 24 hours of CE within the 24 month period prior to the expiration date of the license.

Inactive Licensees are Exempt from CE's but must show proof of required CEs and at time of reactivation will have to show CE’s for each renewal period.

Military Licensees are exempt from continuing education if the DD214 is on file with the Board and the license is in military status.

How To Become a Continuing Education Provider

As of January 1, 2004, paper applications and renewals for approved CE Provider status are no longer being accepted. All provider applications and renewals must be submitted electronically to the Department of Health at www.cebroker.com.
