The Board is comprised of seven members appointed by
the Governor and is comprised of five licensed physical therapists and
two consumer members.

"quasi-judicial" entity on licensure issues, contact with the
members may cause the members to be recused from administrative
proceedings. Staff will direct inquiries, when appropriate to the full
Board for review.

Jessica Sapp,Regulatory Specialist II - Responsible for agendas, minutes, hearings for full Board meetings; Handles foreign trained applications with last names beginning with M-Z for PT; reactivations, contact person for the Board, assists the Program Operations Administrator, answers general questions on licensure.
Shinita Miller, Regulatory Specialist II – Handles all US trained application by Endorsement for PT/PTA; Handles foreign trained applications with last names A-L for PT, prepares files for monthly Education Liaison Review, answers general application questions, as well as questions regarding laws and rules.
Amanda Posey, Regulatory Specialist I - Handles all US trained applications by Examination for PT/PTA, answers general application questions, as well as questions regarding laws and rules.
Cheryl
Searcy, Program Operations Administrator - supervises staff, answers all specific
questions regarding laws and rules, and is available when other staff
members are out of the office.
Allen Hall , Executive Director, responsibilities are
administrative and include budget, legislation, and personnel.
