The Board of Physical Therapy Practice is responsible for licensing and regulating physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who meet statutory requirements for safe practice in Florida.

Foreign Trained Applicants
Effective May 11, 2008, the Florida Board of Physical therapy requires foreign graduates to complete a credential evaluation using the Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) coursework evaluation tool that reflects the education criteria in place at the time of graduation.

Application Fees:

  • Examination Fees for PT/PTA = $230.00

  • Endorsement Fees for PT/PTA = $305.00
