Foreign Trained Applicants
Effective May 11, 2008, the Florida Board of Physical therapy requires foreign graduates to complete a credential evaluation using the Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) coursework evaluation tool that reflects the education criteria in place at the time of graduation.

Public School Volunteer Practitioner Program - The Public School Volunteer Health Care Practitioner Act (s. 381.00593, F.S.) was enacted during the 2002 legislative session. The goal of this program is to make a higher quality of health care available in Florida's public schools by encouraging health care practitioners to volunteer their services. This program is implemented by the Department of Health and the Department of Education, in coordination with the "School Health Services Act", s. 381.0056, F.S.
