Q: How can I register for Dispensing medicinal drugs?
A: The podiatrist will need to submit in writing the request to dispense medicinal drugs and enclose a fee of $100.00. You will be required to renew this registration upon each renewal of licensure.

Q: Will I be required to complete continuing education during the initial biennium?
 A: Yes

Q: Can I receive CE credits for homestudy continuing education programs?
A: Yes, licensees may receive only up to 8 hours credit taken during the biennium.

Q: If I took the PMLexis prior to August 1996 will I be required to take the examination again?
A: No

Q: Do I have to complete one year of residency training prior to becoming licensed?
A: Yes

Q: Do you accept reciprocity?
A: No

Q: How often is the PMLexis examination offered?
A: The PMLexis is offered twice a year (June and December)

Q: Do I have to have a complete application on file with the State of Florida before I am eligible to take the PMLexis examination?
