NEW! CE Broker Information for Providers and Licensees - Licensees may subscribe now and receive the personal benefits of continuing education tracking through November 30, 2007. The renewal of your license will be affected by continuing education tracking through the CE Broker system beginning with the December 1, 2005 through November 30, 2007 licensure cycle.

Continuing Education Required for Renewal

Every applicant for licensure renewal shall complete thirty (30) hours of continuing education credit.

  • Domestic Violence CE is now a 2-hour requirement every third renewal. For example, if you renewed your license on November 30, 2005, you are required to complete the Domestic Violence CE before the November 30, 2009 renewal.
  • Two (2) of the thirty (30) hours, must be on the prevention of medical errors consistent with Section 456.013, F.S.
  • The licensee shall retain for six (6) years certificates of attendance or other records to document the completion of the continuing education requirement.
